Description
Collection of ca. 60 programmes from concerts of works composed by Hector Berlioz, organised alphabetically by the title of the work, with performances of the same work grouped together (1883-1969). Information contained in the programmes varies widely, with some containing analytical programme notes with musical examples, song texts and translations, and names of ensemble members. First performances indicated. Some ticket stubs are attached to programmes, belonging to Cecil Hopkinson who donated the collection. Box 1 contains an index of all the contents of both boxes. Due to space constraints, theatrical productions are not included in the list below.
