Collection of programmes from a series of 4 concerts performed by the Scottish Orchestra, conducted by Aylmer Buesst, and promoted by the Edinburgh Concert Society Limited: Usher Hall, Edinburgh. Programmes contain analytical notes with musical examples, names of orchestral players and guarantors, and an index at the end of all the pieces performed. Inserted into the volume is also a copy of the magazine of the Scottish National Orchestra Edinburgh Club, dating from 1952, as well as the syllabus for this particular concert series.
