Collection of ca. 70 miscellaneous programmes and leaflets from the Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh (now the Royal Lyceum Theatre). Performances of mainly ballet, musicals, and opera, several as part of the Edinburgh International Festival.
Highlights of the collection include:
A large number of theatrical programmes from 1884-1928, with companies including Mr. Henry J. Leslie's Opera Company, Moody Manners Opera Company, Edinburgh Opera Company, Royal Carl Rosa Opera Company, Southern Light Opera Company, D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, and others.
Programmes from 4 concerts by the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Anatole Fistoulari, Richard Tauber, and Warwick Braithwaite (23,24,29/8, 2/9/44). With analytical programme notes.
