Description
3 boxes of programmes, reports and other ephemera including guide books relating to the National Eisteddfod from the first Eisteddfod in 1880. Some years missing. Box 1 also contains programmes for the Cardiff Festival of Music (1969-73) as well as programmes for Cymanfa Ganu (Song concerts). Eisteddfod festival held in different location each year, including occasional ventures outside of Wales.

Collections Overview
The Welsh Music Information Centre, funded by the Arts Council of Wales, was re-established in 2000 under the auspices of Ty Cerdd. The Centre seeks to fulfil its role in promoting all genres of Welsh music through archiving, publishing and performance; development of international links through IAMIC, the consortium of 40 Music Information Centres worldwide; provision of information on Welsh composers and their music, in association with the Welsh Music Guild and Cyfansoddwyr Cymru/Composers of Wales. The centre holds a collection of scores by Welsh composers and misc. music of Welsh interest.
