Description
As well as leaflets and other information relating to the Halle Orchestra in this collection there are two programmes. One programme is for an Invitation Concert in the presence of Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal celebrating Sir John Barbirolli's Twenty-First Season, held in the Free Trade Hall on 10th May 1964. The second programme is for a concert held as part of the 1884 Halle Proms. It was held at the Free Trade Hall on 23rd June 1884, with Cho-Liang Lin as soloist and Owain Arwel Hughes as conductor.
