Description
A miscellaneous collection of programmes for public and private ceremonies, all of which included music, held at various venues in England and America between 1849 and 1920, arranged in a largely chronological fashion within a single volume.
The tract/folio numbers of individual items are given in square brackets below. This volume also includes a number of more detailed concert programmes. For these, see the entries entitled: World’s Columbian Exposition; Great Exhibition; Upper Assembly Rooms, Leamington Spa; Oxford Music Room; Merchant Taylors’ Hall; Scala Theatre; and Edward Mason’s Choir.
