Programmes of concert, opera and theatre performances given in Berlin and other European cities between 1917 and 1927, compiled by Lily Marian Rosenberg and bound in two volumes, each beginning with a handwritten index.

Only programmes relating to concert performances are recorded in detail here.

For the most part, programmes are listed below in the order in which they are bound. Those performances forming part of a series during any individual season are listed together at the point of the programme for the earliest performance. The tract numbers are provided to indicate where this has happened.

Unless otherwise stated below, documentation takes the form of a programme and wordbook. Where no city is stated, the venues are in Berlin.

Volume 1 (1919-22)

11 May 1919, Singakademie: Moderne Lieder, including music by Max Reger, Gustave Mahler, Richard Strauss and Leo Blech, performed by Cläre Dux. This was the last of 6 concerts entitled ‘Das deutsche Lied', presented by the Lessing Hochschule in association with ENDEKA (Neue Deutsche Konzertgesellschaft), accompanied by Otto Bake and given under the general direction of Leo Blech.

The series is described as offering illustrated performances of the symphonies of Beethoven (Sämtliche Symphonien von Beethoven mit erläuternden Vorträgen) and both of these concerts featured Fela Roonfelt (piano) and Dr Leopold Schmidt (Vortragender).
