Description
Programmes and wordbooks for performances given on 21 November and 5 December 1900 at St James’s Hall by the Curtius Concert Club as part of their third season of concerts.
21 November: Anton van Rooy’s Lieder Abend, assisted by Carl Friedberg. This was a two-part concert of nineteenth-century German repertory with songs performed by van Rooy and piano works given by Friedberg.
5 December: Mademoiselle Camilla Landi’s Classical Song Recital, assisted by Herr Wilhelm Backhaus (piano) and Monsieur L. van Waefelghem (viol d’amore). This was a two-part concert of vocal and instrumental solos, accompanied by Mr Henry Bird.
