A collection of programmes and handbills for performances given at the People's Palace, Mile End Road, London between 1945 and 1950, held loosely and arranged chronologically within the Ernst Henschel collection (1892-1966).

23 and 30 December: Bach, Christmas Oratorio with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by Leslie Woodgate.
Box 28 (1946)
10 February: BBC Sunday Afternoon Concerts with the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Albert Wolff.
5 and 19 October, 2, 16 and 30 November, and 14 December: BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir Adrian Boult/Nikolai Malko/Eugene Goosens/Rafael Kubelik/Clarence Raybould/Adrian Boult. The concert on 16 November included the first English performance of Martinu, Symphony No. 4.

January-March: prospectus with programmes with BBC Concerts. This document also includes programmes for concerts in the series given at the Royal Albert Hall and in the Concert Hall of Broadcasting House.
25 January and 8 February: BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Constant Lambert and Alceo Galliera.
