A collection of programmes and handbills for performances given at the Royal Adelphi Theatre, London in 1943 and 1944, held loosely and arranged chronologically within the Ernst Henschel collection (1892-1966).

All programmes at this venue are held in Box 27, parcel 1. All performances featured the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the majority being presented by the Msuical Culture Limited.
3 October [1943]: Moiseiwitsch (piano) and Malcolm Arnold (trumpet), conducted by Basil Cameron.
10 October: Concert given for Lady Cripps’ United Aid to China Fund by Myra Hess (piano), conducted by Sir Adrian Boult.
24 October 1943: Louis Kentner (piano) conducted by Fistoulari.
6 February and 12 March 1944: conducted by Fistoulari.
19 March 1944: conducted by Walter Goehr.
26 March 1944: American Music, including the first English performance of Roger Sessions, Symphony No. 1 in E minor, conducted by Hugo Weisgall.
