Description
A collection of programmes and wordbooks for performances given on 18 February and 13 May 1890 at the Steinway Hall, Lower Seymour Street, London as the first and third of Miss Marguerite Hall and Mr William Nicholl’s Vocal Recitals.

Both were two-part vocal concerts. The first was given by those responsible for its organization, with Tivadar Nachéz (violin), accompanied by Mr Raphael Roche. The programme for the second lists the following artists: Mr and Mrs Henschel, Miss Marguerite Hall, Mr William Nicholl and Mr Hayden Bailey (vocal), Miss Lucy Riley and Mons. Johannes Wolff (violin) and Mr H. Trust (cello), accompanied by Miss Mary Carmichael, Mr Wilhelm Ganz and Mr Arthur E. Godfrey.

These programmes provide the words in translation where appropriate.
