The programme and wordbook for Mr Daniel Mayer’s Grand Concert, given in aid of the funds of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children on Thursday 11 June [1896] at St. James’s Hall, London.
This was a concert of vocal and instrumental solos, including the first performance of a song by Lady Euan Smith ('Where do they sleep?').

There are occasion handwritten annotations to the programme which would appear to indicate those works receiving an encore.
