The collection contains three boxes of programmes from the L'Opéra de Paris (Paris Opera), including programmes from the combined Paris Opera and Opera Comique companies
"Réunion des Théâtres Lyriques Nationaux". The collection programmes from the 1900s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. The company performed in a number of venues in Paris. The collection includes a significant amount of programmes from the
Théatre National de l'Opéra.

A wide variety of venues are represented in the collection. The collection contains a significant amount of programmes from the Salle Pleyel and the Académie Nationale de Musique et de Danse. The collection includes items from festivals and competitions, as well as concerts.
Aix-en-Provence and Prades (1950-)
One box of items from music festivals in Aix-en-Provenance and Prades, from 1950 onwards. The collection includes prospectuses, festival programmes, concert programmes and press cuttings. The collection includes material from a festival held in Prades, from 1950 to 1963. The festival has various names including Festival J.S. Bach and Festival de Prades. The festival was directed by Pablo Casals. The collection includes material from the Aix-en-Provence Festival de Musique, from 1957 onwards.

Collections Overview
The Centre for Performance History was created in 2004 through the amalgamation of the Department of Portraits and the Museum of Instruments (see the separate entry for the Museum. The College has acquired portraits throughout its history since 1883 and the Centre posseses the most comprehensive collection of portraits of musicians in the UK, amounting to some 346 original portraits and 10,000 prints and photographs. In addition to the iconographical collections and their documentation, the department houses other categories of source material - most notably the largest collection of concert programmes in this country, comprising some 600,000 items dating from 1780 to the present day.
