Description
A collection of programmes and prospectuses for musical events given at multiple venues in Germany between 1967 and 1990, held individually within a box of programmes for German venues A-Z.

4-19 July 1967: Internationales Musikseminar der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik (prospectus, documenting the Musikseminar in Weimar and the Chroleiterseminar in Berlin).

December 1970: Die Brandenburgischen Konzerte von Johann Sebastian Bach given at the Konzerthaus Harmonie, Heilbronn and in the Liederhalle of the Mozartsaal, Stuttgart to mark 10 years of the Württembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn (single document with notes, biographical notes and a list of the orchestral ensemble).

1983: Veranstaltungsplan/Orff-Schulwerk Gesellschaft in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (leaflet).

June-August 1986: Schleswig Holstein Music Festival (leaflet prospectus).

August 1989-May 1990: Karl Amadeus Hartmann-Zyklus, including performances in Bochum, Düsseldorf, Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, Herne, Köln, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Recklinghausen and Witten (leaflet).

Collections Overview
The Centre for Performance History was created in 2004 through the amalgamation of the Department of Portraits and the Museum of Instruments (see the separate entry for the Museum. The College has acquired portraits throughout its history since 1883 and the Centre posseses the most comprehensive collection of portraits of musicians in the UK, amounting to some 346 original portraits and 10,000 prints and photographs. In addition to the iconographical collections and their documentation, the department houses other categories of source material - most notably the largest collection of concert programmes in this country, comprising some 600,000 items dating from 1780 to the present day.
