Organisation: Holidays at home Short Biography: Part of a British government-led campaign in world war 2 (and beyond?) to discourage civilian travel. Achieved by encouraging civic authorities to organise entertainment and civilians to attend. One result was a number of concerts organised under the banner "Holidays at home".
